KK Law Firm was founded with one clear purpose: to serve the community with honest, outcome-driven legal support. We understand that while a matter may be one of many cases for us, for our clients, it’s their life. That’s why every client is treated with the care, urgency, and respect they deserve. Our approach is grounded in honesty, compassion, and a commitment to helping people through some of their most difficult times.
We stand for more than just legal advice. At KK Law Firm, clients can expect to be treated the way we would want to be treated- without judgment, with discretion, and with clear, realistic guidance. Whether it’s criminal charges, family breakdown, visa uncertainty, or end-of-life planning, we offer every client the same level of attention and strategic focus- no matter their background or circumstance.
What sets us apart is our unique ability to bridge cultures. Raised in Australia with strong Indian roots, our Principal Solicitor Cheryl Khurana brings a deep understanding of the cultural expectations, sensitivities, and pressures faced by many in the migrant community- while navigating the Australian legal system with skill and confidence. KK Law Firm is proud to be the first call for those in crisis, offering trusted legal advice that is sharp, strategic, and always human.
Cheryl Khurana is the Founder and Principal Solicitor of KK Law Firm. She has been working in the legal profession since 2011 and was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2014. Cheryl is known for her clear advice, strong advocacy, and calm presence- especially in tough situations. She has handled complex cases in criminal, family, and immigration law, appearing in courts at all levels. Cheryl also assists clients with property matters and wills, offering the same care, attention, and professionalism to every case, whether simple or sensitive.
As a first-generation Indian-Australian lawyer raised in Sydney, Cheryl brings a culturally informed and compassionate lens to her practice. She is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi, and is particularly attuned to the needs of migrant and working-class communities navigating the legal system. Her practice is grounded in empathy, honesty, and pragmatism- qualities that have earned her the trust of clients, colleagues and the Court.
KK Law Firm reflects Cheryl’s commitment to standing with people during life’s most difficult moments, and helping them move forward with strength, dignity, and clarity.
